every Friday at 5:30pm* Belly dancing to prepare for giving birth provides exceptional benefits. Practicing dance during pregnancy tones and strengthens the abdominal muscles and facilitates coordination of the muscles needed to give birth. This practice will help ease your birthing experience.

Doula Speed Dating

Meet a several doulas in a short, fun experience! This is a unique opportunity for expecting women (plus the support person of your choice) or couples considering having a baby in the near future. It will be set up like a speed dating event where each couple will have some face-to-face time to get to know each doula. Comfort Measures for Birth
February 7th 2-5pm
Comfort Measures is a great resource for couples needing extra practice or learning how to manage labor and birth more comfortably. First time parents, those needing a ‘refresher’ in labor coping skills, or anyone wanting to expand their knowledge of comfort measures for labor and birth are welcome!

Lamaze - 5 Week Series
Thursdays 6-9pm March 17th - April 14th
This class is designed to help you decipher what type of birth you want! We discuss all options for pain relief and alternatives to pharmaceuticals, as well as how to keep your birth as natural and low intervention as you want it to be.
Lamaze Childbirth classes support birth as a normal, natural and healthy process. This course teaches that empowered women make informed decisions regarding their bodies, their babies and their births. Classes include normal labor, birth and early postpartum; comfort measures for labor and birth; relaxation and massage techniques to ease pain; labor support and how your partner can help you through labor; communication skills and information about medical procedures and interventions in pregnancy, birth and newborn period; breastfeeding; and how healthy lifestyle choices create a healthy birthing experience.
